taking my place as the other sister

My family are all writers. It must be in our blood. The creativity comes from Dad but the ability to construct cohesive sentences from Mom. All of my siblings, and that number comes to four, have published blogs. Some have gotten them recognition (Heather is the famous creator of ThisFish) and for the others blogging has been a means of venting supressed emotions. Direct communication is not big in my household. I, I have refrained from taking my place on the world-wide confessional, until now. I will stand tall as second fiddle. I will become not the other sister but instead the diva in my own spotlight, even if the spotlight is the coconut-shaped lamp I keep by my bed.
